Our academy building is full of visitors eager to meet our students and teachers, learn more about how we teach, or experience the atmosphere of the LEAF Academy community. That is how the Open Day would look like under the usual circumstances. Unfortunately, our plans were thwarted by the pandemic and we had to adapt to the new situation.
LEAF Academy Open Day will therefore take place online this year. The next one will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 9:30 AM (CET). Are you still unsure whether to join this event? Here are the reasons why it’s worth it!
1. YOU WILL CONNECT FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME
The pandemic restrictions have a considerable impact on society and have accelerated certain changes. For example, we are much more open to meet in a virtual space. To learn valuable information firsthand, you don’t need to travel or risk your health. You will connect with us online, via Zoom application, from the comfort of your living room or office.
2. WE HAVE A PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS AND ALSO FOR PARENTS
After the welcome and introduction, you can look forward to the separate activities for students and for parents. The reason for this is a more natural interaction within the student and parent peer groups. If you are joining the Online Open Day as a family, you will need two devices with the Internet connection (e.g. a laptop or a tablet) for this part of the program.
3. YOU WILL EXPERIENCE SAMPLE CLASSES
In two separate blocks, you will have the opportunity to experience how we teach at LEAF Academy. You will be able to choose two sample classes from the choice of four core subjects:
- Entrepreneurial Leadership
- Character Development
- Central European Studies
It is up to you which virtual classroom you will decide to enter.
4. WE WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS
If you’ve reached this far, surely you have a lot of questions about studies at LEAF Academy. Good news! During the Online Open Day, there’ll be enough space and relevant employees to have them answered and to address the topics such as curriculum, students’ schedule, AP Diploma, life after the graduation, admission process, scholarships, residential life, extra-curricular activities, or experiential learning.
