Dear students and parents,

A great way to explore LEAF Academy is to attend an admission event for prospective students.

We will be opening our doors in Bratislava and welcoming you to our premises of the beautiful historical building once again.

We look forward to meeting you and giving you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study at LEAF Academy. 

In the case of a worsening pandemic situation, the format of the event may change depending on the applicable regulations.

Registration via the online form is necessary for each participant individually.

PROGRAM - Saturday, Feb 5, 2022

You will be greeted by our principal Matej Sapak and our Admissions team. We will inform you about the program and provide some practical tips, and also introduce some members of our team and LEAF Academy in general.

Our students will virtually show you around our academic building at Sasinkova Street in Bratislava as well as around our residence in Hotel Astra.

An open forum for your questions. Our colleagues and a couple of our students will address the topics regarding our curriculum, AP courses, diploma recognition, life at the residence, admission process and scholarships, experiential learning, or any LEAF Academy related question you might have.

This part of the program provides a great opportunity to get to know some of our students. It will run simultaneously with the Q&A session for parents in a separate online call. If you are joining as a family, you will need to connect from separate devices. Our students prepared several activities for you and will also leave some open space for discussion and questions from visiting students.

15 minutes break

A panel discussion with the parents of our current students, who will share their experiences with LEAF Academy from the perspective of a parent. This discussion will run simultaneously with the first block of the sample classes.

The sample classes are led by the LEAF Academy teachers and assisted by our students. All classes are in English. In each block of sample classes you can choose only one class from the list.

During the Open Day, you will have the option to participate in 2 sample classes (in English) from the choice of 4 representing our core departments.

Our unique curriculum intertwines rigorous academic preparation with the intentional development of leadership, entrepreneurship, strong moral values, and self-awareness through our own programs of Entrepreneurial Leadership, Central European Studies, STEM, and Character Development. You can learn more about these programs by clicking on their title below. 

We also offer in-person events in the regime fully vaccinated, specifically Campus Visit, which usually takes place one Wednesday a month at 4 p.m. It is a short (usually 60min) school visit, where those interested in studying at LEAF Academy can see our premises and talk to the admissions team.
