Two University of Rochester students named as Schwarzman Scholars

Lea Thome, one of our first graduates, will be joining the cohort of Schwarzman Scholars next fall. It is a fully-funded, one-year master’s degree and leadership program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. At the heart of the program are world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global affairs, and hands-on exploration of Chinese culture and commerce. Schwarzman Scholars was designed in collaboration with world-leading universities to create an international community that bridges differences.

International Public Policy Forum – 2020-21 finals

We are pleased to announce that the 2021 International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) World Champion is Slovak National Team from Bratislava, with one of our students competing for the winning team – Anfisa Kryvtsun (Y2).
In March, the 2020-21 “Elite 8” teams are announced. Typically, these teams would take part in oral debate finals in New York City. However, due to the ongoing risk posed by the pandemic, the 2021 IPPF Finals took place virtually on Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1, 2021. The team won the $10,000 grand prize.
