Freedom Run is a student project of five of our students, as a part of Enterpreneurial Leadership course organized as a celebration of International Students' Day and the Day of Struggle for Freedom and Democracy. We will symbolically run to the Austrian border and back.
Our run is not just about athletic performance. It shows that freedom should not be taken for granted and and that we should value democratic principles.
In order to spread the idea and values of this run, we will cooperate with other secondary schools - C.S.Lewis Lyceum, C.S.Lewis Bilingual High School and French International School of Bratislava.
Running for a cause: Supporting Cesta von
Alongside our run, we are raising funds to support the non-profit organization Cesta von (“The Way Out”).
The mission of Cesta von is to help people trapped in poverty stand on their own feet, find work, and build a life of dignity. They pursue this mission through programs focused on early childhood development, youth empowerment, and adult education and employment.
We warmly encourage you to support this meaningful initiative — with any contribution, big or small — to help children, young people, and adults take their first steps out of the cycle of poverty.
